Summer Spectacular Gold Palette ArtWalk Returns to Old Town Scottsdale

Discover summer art events scottsdale and art events scottsdale during the vibrant season

Scottsdale's ArtWalk, established in 1975, offers art enthusiasts a chance to explore featured artists within Old Town's vibrant cultural scene. For over five decades, the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) has proudly hosted this event, making it the nation's longest-running art walk.

Every Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m., the SGA, in partnership with the city of Scottsdale, presents the weekly ArtWalk. This event showcases the finest art in Scottsdale across more than 30 galleries and two museums: the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art and Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West.

In addition to the weekly ArtWalks, the SGA organizes Gold Palette ArtWalks multiple times throughout the year. These special events feature extended hours and dedicated themes that often align with citywide events, offering entertainment, refreshments, demonstrations, and more.

The upcoming Gold Palette ArtWalk, themed "Summer Spectacular," is scheduled for Thursday, July 9, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The event will take place throughout the Scottsdale Arts District, which runs along Main Street from Scottsdale Road to Goldwater Boulevard and from Marshall Way north of Indian School Road to 5th Avenue.

"Summertime in Scottsdale is a unique time for residents to truly explore all the amazing experiences that visitors from around the world come here to see and do," says SGA President Jinger Richardson. "This is the perfect time for locals to enjoy and support our Scottsdale Arts District galleries, restaurants, and retailers."
