Scottsdale Hosts 22nd Annual Desert Dog Police K9 Trials & Public Safety Expo

The Arizona Law Enforcement Canine Association is set to host its 22nd annual Desert Dog Police K9 Trials & Public Safety Expo at WestWorld of Scottsdale on November 8 and 9, 2025.

 

This event, recognized as the largest police K9 competition in the nation, will feature over 70 canine teams from across the United States.

 

Attendees can witness these skilled teams navigate challenging obstacle courses, perform daring handler protection exercises, and demonstrate their proficiency in narcotics and explosives detection.

 

In addition to the thrilling competitions, the expo will offer interactive public safety booths, live demonstrations from SWAT and aviation units, and the latest advancements in public safety vehicles.

 

Special guest Erin Switzer, known for her motion capture work in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" and her role in Amazon Prime's "The Terminal List," will make an appearance.

 

Additional programming includes a special presentation on wildlife and multiple guest speakers.

 

WestWorld is located at 16601 N. Pima Road.

 

Tickets are priced at $10 if purchased in advance and $15 at the door.

 

Children 12 and under can attend for free.
