Scottsdale Hotel Valley Ho Unveils $18 Million Renovation |
Historic Mid-Century Modern Hotel Blends Vintage Charm with Contemporary Luxury |
Hotel Valley Ho, a cornerstone of Old Town Scottsdale since 1956, has completed an extensive $18 million renovation, marking its most significant update in nearly seven decades.
Designed by Mendil + Meyer Design Studio, the renovation honors the hotel's mid-century modern roots while introducing contemporary elements that cater to today's travelers.
The refreshed guest rooms feature a serene color palette inspired by Scottsdale sunsets, with soft pinks and blues complemented by crisp cream walls and neutral accents.
Custom artwork by Scottsdale-based artist Djamila Fierek adorns the walls, adding a local touch to the interiors.
In line with this Old Town Scottsdale hotel's commitment to sustainability, the design incorporates materials from previous renovations to minimize waste.
Eco-conscious furnishings, such as the "Sprung Chair" crafted from 81% recycled material by UK-based company Deadgood, are featured throughout the rooms.
This Scottsdale renovation also introduces new room categories, including ground-level, pool-facing Cabana King Rooms with extended patios furnished with sun loungers, tables, and chairs, offering a private cabana experience.
Revitalized Terrace Suites feature separate living and sleeping areas, each with its own private patio, king-size beds, queen sleeper sofas, and custom furnishings throughout.
Vice President and General Manager Ronen Aviram expressed enthusiasm about the transformation, stating, "This stylish transformation marks an exciting milestone for Scottsdale Hotel Valley Ho.
Later this year, the hotel plans to unveil additional redesigned rooms and all-new Executive Suites, further enhancing its offerings.
