Scottsdale Quarter Announces Sweetgreen Grand Opening

Sweetgreen, the acclaimed fast-casual restaurant known for its chef-crafted salads and warm bowls, is set to open its first Arizona location at Scottsdale Quarter on September 23. This marks a significant milestone as the brand expands into the Grand Canyon State.

 

The Scottsdale Quarter restaurant will occupy a 2,515-square-foot space, offering seating for 30 guests indoors and an additional 36 on the patio. Scottsdale patrons can look forward to signature dishes like the Harvest Bowl and Crispy Rice Bowl, alongside a rotating seasonal menu that emphasizes fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

 

Co-founder and CEO Jonathan Neman expressed enthusiasm about the expansion, stating, "We’re thrilled to introduce Sweetgreen to Scottsdale and become part of the vibrant communities in the Valley of the Sun. Our mission is to connect people to real food, and we’re excited to bring that experience to a state that values wellness, sustainability, and community."

 

In line with its commitment to community engagement, Sweetgreen of Scottsdale will donate a meal to St. Mary’s Food Bank for every meal purchased on opening day, aiming to support individuals facing food insecurity in the Greater Phoenix area. The Scottsdale Quarter location is part of a broader redevelopment initiative that has recently introduced several new retailers and dining options to the area. Notable additions include Aroma 360, Alice + Olivia, American Threads, and Reformation, which enhance the shopping and dining experience for visitors.
