Scottsdale Turns 75: Celebrating 75 Years of History, Growth & Community

Scottsdale, Arizona, often celebrated as The West's Most Western Town, boasts a rich tapestry of history that continues to shape its vibrant community. As Scottsdale approaches its 75th anniversary of incorporation on June 25, 2026, the city is abuzz with celebratory events. One highlight is the 75th Anniversary Birthday Bash at Scottsdale Stadium on June 25. Attendees can enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast, a documentary unveiling Scottsdale's history, guest speakers, and a special performance by the Pinnacle Peak Presbyterian Choir. Exhibits will showcase the city's historical timeline, including a 1976 Plymouth Fury patrol car and interactive activities like 'Sonora the Horse,' where guests can share their Scottsdale memories. 

Earlier in the month, Porters Western Saloon celebrated its 7th anniversary on June 13, 2026. The event featured all-day specials, samples, and giveaways, embodying the lively spirit of Old Town Scottsdale. ([community.scottsdaleaz.gov]

Looking ahead, the annual 4th of July Celebration at WestWorld of Scottsdale promises to be a highlight of the summer.
