Scottsdale's Rusty Taco Welcomes New Owners and Fresh Flavors

ARS Hospitality's Acquisition Brings Breakfast Tacos and Expansion Plans to Arizona

Scottsdale's beloved Rusty Taco is embracing a new era as ARS Hospitality, led by Anthony Smith and Timm Timbrook, takes the helm of its Arizona locations.

Since acquiring majority ownership of the Scottsdale, Tempe, and Gilbert restaurants, the duo has introduced exciting changes, including the addition of breakfast hours to serve their renowned breakfast tacos alongside signature offerings.

"We've launched various promotions to deepen our community ties and expanded our hours to include breakfast," says Smith.

Named after founder Rusty Fenton, Rusty Taco is Scottsdale offers a laid-back atmosphere where fresh ingredients and bold flavors come together.

With over 20 unique taco options, including favorites like baja shrimp, crispy chicken, and brisket, each order is made fresh and packed with personality.

Guests can also enjoy house-made queso, salsas, guacamole, and signature margaritas made with fresh-squeezed lime juice.

But the changes don't stop at the menu.

Smith and Timbrook have ambitious plans to expand the Rusty Taco brand across Scottsdale and the rest of Arizona, aiming to make each location a go-to destination within the communities they serve.

Anthony Smith brings extensive experience from leading national brands like Snap Kitchen, while Timm Timbrook has worked with Arizona favorites such as Fox Restaurant Concepts and RA Sushi.

Together, they are committed to delivering exceptional value to guests and stakeholders.

"Anthony and Timm bring a wealth of expertise in the restaurant industry, making them ideal partners as we continue building Rusty Taco's presence," says Dan Smith, president of Rusty Taco in Scottsdale.

Rusty Taco was founded by Rusty Fenton and his wife, Denise in Dallas in 2010.
