Scottsdale AZ Husky Rescue Foster Shadow A Loving Husky

Shadow, a five-year-old male Siberian Husky, is urgently seeking a foster home in Scottsdale, AZ.

 

Currently in boarding, Shadow has been on a weight loss journey, progressing from approximately 100 pounds toward a healthier size.

 

Known for his friendly demeanor, he greets humans with a big smile and offers affectionate kisses.

 

Shadow interacts well with medium to large dogs that respect his space, but is not suitable for homes with small dogs or cats due to his prey drive.

 

He has shown a tendency to resource guard toys and bones, so an experienced adopter with older children (12+) who understand dog behavior is recommended.

 

Despite this, Shadow has no bite record and has been the absolute sweetest, friendliest, most outgoing, lovable guy.

 

Previously, Shadow lived in a Scottsdale apartment for 1.5 years before being surrendered to the shelter.

 

Notes indicated that during a walk, a small dog approached him, barking excessively, and Shadow reacted.

 

Thankfully, the small dog was not seriously injured, but this incident led to Shadow being e-listed.

 

Despite this, Shadow has shown no aggression whatsoever with humans and is eager to find a loving home.
