Scottsdale Husky Logan Seeks Loving Foster Home

Logan, a three-year-old husky mix, is in urgent need of a foster home in Scottsdale, AZ.

 

Rescued from Maricopa County Animal Care and Control (MCACC), Logan faced euthanasia due to extreme fear and shutdown behavior.

 

Thanks to dedicated shelter staff and volunteers, he was brought to safety and began his recovery journey.

 

Initially placed in a foster home, Logan made significant progress, becoming more comfortable and affectionate.

 

However, he is now in boarding, which may hinder his development.

 

To prevent regression, Logan urgently needs a new foster home.

 

In his previous foster environment, Logan quickly adapted to being part of a pack.

 

He is playful, affectionate, and enjoys close contact with people, sometimes forgetting personal space.

 

Logan thrives in active settings where he can run and play.

 

He is still learning manners like avoiding counter surfing and leash pulling, but responds well to verbal corrections and treats.

 

Logan is crate-trained, gets along with dogs of all sizes, and seeks involvement in daily activities.

 

He may be shy initially, but is eager to bond and be a good companion.

 

Logan would do well in an active household with other playful dogs or individuals ready for his energy and affection.

 

Due to his size and enthusiasm, homes with older children are recommended.

 

He has not been tested with cats.

 

Logan is hesitant to enter cars but is a calm passenger once inside.

 

Logan is excited to find someone who will appreciate his big heart, energy, and personality.
