Western Spirit: Scottsdaleâs Museum of the West is set to unveil the 'Curt Walters: Resilience' exhibition on January 17, 2026.
This showcase will feature 20 remarkable paintings by the renowned artist.
Recognized as one of the foremost painters of the Grand Canyon, Walters has dedicated over five decades to capturing the essence of this natural wonder.
His work offers a profound exploration of light, geology, and the dynamic moods of the American Southwest.
The exhibition will include award-winning pieces such as 'First Touch of Winter,' which earned the Frederic Remington Award at Prix de West in 2013, and 'Inexorable Shiprock,' recipient of the Buyerâs Choice Award at Prix de West in 2022.
These masterpieces will be displayed alongside other works that highlight Waltersâs mastery of scale, season, and atmosphere.
