Scheduled to debut in February 2026 atop the new AC Hotel Scottsdale Old Town, Cielito promises a transportive day-to-night experience for both locals and visitors.

 

Developed by The Wayfaring Group, known for creating culturally rooted concepts, Cielito aims to offer an authentic and intuitive atmosphere.

 

Led by anthropologist and concept strategist Alex Webb and award-winning chef and creative director Shon Foster, the team has meticulously crafted every element, from the menu to the ambiance, to reflect the essence of Northwest Mexico.

 

Chef Foster, formerly the food and beverage director and executive chef at Amangiri, has designed a menu centered around clean coastal and highland flavors.

 

Diners can expect shareable plates featuring bright ingredients, warm textures, and bold contrasts, all executed with simplicity and quality.

 

The cocktail program, developed by Webb, complements the menu with agave spirits, citrus, and seasonal ingredients, offering signature cocktails and sessionable pours that invite guests to linger.

 

Spanning 3,100 square feet, Cielito will offer approximately 70 seats, including a 14-seat bar, with seating extending onto the pool deck for a semi-private, destination feel.

 

The indoor-outdoor space, designed by Jules Sinson of EDGIED, features airy, matte natural textures and warm neutral tones, punctuated by vibrant color and expressive artwork inspired by desert skylines and contemporary Mexican folk art.

It completes the hotel’s vision as a true lifestyle destination, a space that feels elevated but welcoming, where guests and locals can come together for great food, great drinks, and unbeatable views."
